VITEEE Eligibility Criteria 2014 is the set of terms and conditions which specifies which candidate are eligible for admission in VIT university and which not. Every candidate must check it before applying. No foreign citizen is eligible for admission. To be eligible, candidate must have passed Class XII exam (PCM stream) with minimum 60% or at least appeared in it.
For NRI candidates, the rule is, he or she has to qualify the GCE exam (Cambridge/ Sri Lanka/ London) of advanced level or International Baccalaureate Diploma of the International Baccalaureate Office, Geneva or High School Certificate Examination of Cambridge University.
As per VITEEE Eligibility Criteria 2014, candidate must have had formal studies to appear in the exam. Students would be given relaxation of 10% in their aggregate score in Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry if they belong to North Eastern states of Arunachal Pradesh, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Assam, Manipur, Nagaland, Sikkim and Tripura and Jammu and Kashmir and SC/ST category, as per criteria.
The admission may get cancelled if the candidate fails to produce original documents, as per VITEEE Eligibility Criteria 2014. Also, the candidate might be expelled from the admission process, in case any discrepancy or misleading information is found at any stage during the procedure of admission. Candidates are eligible if  their date of birth lies after first week of July 1991.
