VITEEE Counseling 2014 process will commence from mid week of May, 2014. All the candidates who have qualified the entrance exam and are included in the merit list are eligible for counseling. These candidates would be called for allotment as per their ranks. Candidates have to report physically on the schedule, with documents and fee at the VIT Chennai Campus.

Document Verification Phase :

VITEEE Counseling 2014 Fee of Rs.30,000, will be paid through computerized Demand Draft drawn in favor of ‘VIT University’, payable at Vellore. Remaining fee will be paid after seat allotment. No fee of VITEEE Counseling 2014 will be accepted in CASH Following documents are to be produced in originals and one set of photo copy :

• VITEEE e - Admit Card 2014.

• Class X Certificate.

• Copy of Class XII Exam Admit Card.

• Qualifying Exam Marks Certificates (All Attempts).

• School Leaving Certificate.

• Domicile for the Applicants of North - Eastern States and Jammu & Kashmir.

• Community certificate (reserved category applicants)will be required in VITEEE Counseling 2014.

• Student Profile page as on the website home page.
  
• Affidavit by candidates and their Parents.

• 6 latest passport photographs.

• Blood Group ID.

Important :

• Candidates must bring two distinct drafts for Hostel Fee and Counseling Fee.

• Candidates would not be allowed in counseling without the Counseling Fee.

• Candidate who attend the Counseling of VITEEE 2014 has to write his / her Name, Application Number and Mobile Number on the Back Side of Demand Draft.

VITEEE Counseling Procedure 2014 :
Candidates would be selected strictly only on the base of merit for the seat allotment process. The venue of counseling is University Campus at Vellore and Chennai. Multiplicity VITEEE 2014 Counseling will be held at Chennai and Vellore simultaneously. Seats in the allotment process would be offered on the basis of availability, the order preference as filled by candidates. No representative is allowed to participate in counseling on any candidate’s behalf. Only a parent is allowed inside the venue.

Applicants who report after time will be allowed to attend the NEXT ROUND of Counseling ONLY. The counseling may extend to one day, so candidates must plan their itinerary accordingly. There would be no alteration in date and time of counseling at any circumstances. Failing in reporting on time will result into allotment of the seat to next candidate in merit.

In case, the candidate can’t attend VITEEE Counseling  2014 due to some reasons on specified date, he or she can duly report the University Office and attend the counseling on subsequent time and date however allotment would be done as per the THEN vacancy.

If the candidate doesn’t produce class XII mark-sheet at the time of VITEEE 2014 Counseling, he or she have to furnish an Undertaking Stating "If he / she fails to qualify as per admission eligibility modalities, he / she will forfeit the seat allocated".

Before making fee payment, every candidate must decide if he/she is opting for the allotted course. The branch shall not be changed under any circumstances, once allotted.

Final admission is a subject matter of various factors and merely being called for VITEEE Counseling 2014 doesn’t confirm the admission. The current vacant seats in all the colleges in all the branches will be displayed at the university notice board and website after the ending of each counseling round.
