Uttar Pradesh Combined Pre Medical Test 2014 (UPCPMT 2014) is conducted by Chhatrapati Shahuji Maharaj Medical University for admission to undergraduate courses in Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery (MBBS), Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS), Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS), Bachelor of Homeopathic Medicine and Surgery (BHMS) and Bachelor of Unani Medicine and Surgery (BUMS)
Courses offered through CPMT 2014:

• MBBS – Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery,
• BDS – Bachelor of Dental Surgery,
• BHMS – Bachelor of Homoeopathic Medicine and Surgery,
• BAMS – Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery,
• BUMS – Bachelor of Unani Medicine and Surgery

Eligibility Criteria:

• Candidate must be at least 17 years of age.
• Candidate must have passed higher secondary examination or Indian certificate examination after a period of 12 years of study.
• Candidate must have studied Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Mathematics or any other elective subject.

All the students who want to take UPCPMT 2014 exam must have following criteria.

• The students must be a citizen of India.
• The student must have UP as residence.
• The student who is all not be a member of this category will not be allowed for the admission of Medical courses though they have cleared the entrance exam conducted by Uttar Pradesh Government.
• The students must pass in their Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) exam or any of the exams equivalents to HSC of 10+2 level from any of the recognized Board with physics chemistry and biology as core subjects of study and also English as a compulsory subject.

Or

• The Intermediate examination in science of an Indian University, Board or other recognized examination body with Physics, Chemistry and Biology which shall include a practical test in these subjects and also English as a compulsory subject.

Or

• The pre-professional/pre-medical examination with Physics, Chemistry and Biology, after passing either the higher secondary school examination or the pre-university of an equivalent examination shall include a practical test in Physics, Chemistry and Biology and also English as a compulsory subject.

Or

• The first year of the three years degree course of a recognized university, with Physics, Chemistry and Biology including a practical test in these subjects provided the examination is a “University Examination” and candidate has passed 10+2 with English at a level not less than a core course.

Or

• B.Sc. examination of an Indian University, provided that he/she has passed the B.Sc. examination with not less than two of the following subjects in Physics, Chemistry, Biology (Botany, Zoology) and further that he/she has passed the earlier qualifying examination with the following subjects- Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English.

Or

• Any other examination in which scope and standard is found to be same to the intermediate science examination of an Indian University/Board taking Physics, Chemistry and Biology including a practical test in each of these subjects and English..
• For BAMS Course, the candidates, who have passed Madhyama Examination of Sampurnanand Sanskrit University, Varanasi are also eligible.
• For BUMS Course, the candidates, who have passed High School or equivalent Examination Passed with Urdu as a subject of study, are also eligible.
• Students must pass with at least of 50% (40% for SC/ST/OBC candidate) of marks in the main subjects- Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
• Students should complete age of 17 at the end of year in which they have taken the admission and the upper age limit is 25 years.
• For BHMS, BAMS and BUMS programs candidates have to reserved minimum 35% marks in CPMT 2014 exam.

Application Procedure:

1. Candidate can obtain UPCPMT 2014 application form from any of the major branches of Bank of India of Uttar Pradesh. Application fees are as follows:
   • Rs 1280/- (including counseling charges) for General/OBC category
   • Rs 680/- (including counseling charges) for SC/ST category
2. Along with the application there will be enclosed OMR sheet. Kindly fill the OMR sheet with blue ball point pen after reading the instructions carefully.
3. Send the application form and OMR sheet and application form through registered post/speed post to:
